Hi, I'm Fiona and qualified as a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist in 2010. I absolutely loved the training which made me realise how my life so far - the way I had thought about things and myself and my actions - weren't necessarily 'facts' but were often a result of 'false' perceptions and beliefs about myself; about what I could or couldn't do. Learning about the power of choosing new and more constructive and positive thoughts and using hypnosis made a huge difference to me in understanding how I could make desired changes and make progress in life. Without understanding the mind's capabilities to enhance our daily life, actions and desires, we often take two common approaches: 'Making' or 'Forcing' ourselves do it using Willpower alone (I must do that/got to/if I don't...) OR we AVOID the task/desire/challenge because we feel stressed about it in some way. Things then build up and we feel even more stressed and possibly overwhelmed. Back we then go to 'Making' ourselves 'Get on with it'.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy allows you to feel calmer in session and in life; to help you to see things in a more constructive way and to help you to incorporate changes into your life step by step.
