Recording Studio Time
Mindful Recording
AfSFH Member Mike Parker runs Mindful Recording, which produces royalty-free music and narrative recordings for your business, for your voice, and with your content. Broadcast-quality audio recordings with appropriate backing music of your choice can be provided. You can visit Mike's home to record your voice on professional grade microphones and audio editing facilities if you wish.
Bespoke compositions of backing music can be produced, should you require them. All these services are at rates that can be negotiated depending on how long you want to spend on your recording. The base rate for short periods is £30 per hour or part thereof with a 10% discount for AfSFH members. The REMOTE SERVICE has been found very effective and convenient by several people putting together hypnosis CDs and MP3s:
- You make your own recording of the script (language pattern) on your PC or laptop and send me the audio file via Dropbox.
- I will run through the vocal recording from you and take out extraneous noises such as page turning etc.
- I will then adjust the vocal with discrete reverb and some equalisation if necessary and mix the vocal with the backing music.
- I provide my standard backing music free which you can hear in context if you download my free recording on www.highendhypnotherapy.com.
- Alternatively, you can send me the royalty free music you would like to use as a sound file and I will use that.
- If you send me a good quality recording with few edits required I can give you a complete product back usually for £25 – £30.
- I charge a maximum of £30 for the remote service but for that I limit the maximum time I will spend editing it or adjusting the levels of music and voice to a total of 1.5 hours. If it takes me less than an hour to do, then I charge you less pro-rata.
- What you get back is 2 files of audio one MP3 for download use on the web and another for making CDs in either .WAV or .AIFF format.
- Once you get your files back if you want the levels adjusting between music and voice then 2 iterations are included in the price.
