I provide Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Working with both children and adults, positive changes can be achieved through this engaging and relaxed therapy. I founded The Childrey Practice in 2014, and since then we have been consistently delivering positive outcomes for a wide range of problems.

About The Childrey Practice
Lucy had a long career in specialist cancer nursing in London and Swindon before she decided to develop further her counselling skills and become Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist under David Newton at CPHT in Bristol in 2014. After gaining her diploma she set up The Childrey Practice in Wantage, Oxfordshire. Lucy uses the very best of all the modern therapeutic techniques such as Solution Focused Brief Therapy, CBT, Mindfulness, NLP and Hypnosis.
Lucy has helped many adults and young people with anxiety, confidence issues, fears and phobias. She has also helped many give up addictions, achieve their sporting and performance goals, improve focus and much more.
There is a no nonsense approach to her work combined with a sympathetic ear and of course a sense of humour!
Lucy is also a qualified Clinical Supervisor for other psychotherapists. Lucy also maintains her own supervision and regular skills and knowledge updates as required by the AfSFH.
She maintains documents in accordance with ICO requirements, is fully insured and holds an enhanced DBS certification.
