My own journey into hypnotherapy began as a stressed-out marketing executive, juggling global travel with raising a young family. Mine is not a unique story, in fact it's very common in our time-poor society and the result is a population of high-functioning yet broken people... That feeling of running on empty that so many people live with, but few understand or have the capacity to deal with it.
The result? Stress overwhelm, burnout, physical and mental health issues, insomnia or poor sleep, relationship breakdown, addiction to alcohol, food, gambling, shopping... just not feeling like the real you.
Your first step is to ask for help - and often seeing someone outside your circle is easier than talking to family, friends or colleagues. There's less 'risk' involved, no come-back or worries that someone knows stuff about you that you'd rather they didn't, especially when you start to move on.
That's where I help, by providing a neutral and safe space for you to heal at your pace.
Using tried and tested techniques drawn from talking therapies such as CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), NLP (neuro-linguistic programming), CBTi (cognitive behavioural therapy for sleep), SFBT (solution focused brief therapy), together with the relaxing state that is hypnosis where your brain has space to work on finding your solutions...

I regularly attend continued professional development sessions and courses to ensure my knowledge is up to date and varied - from the latest neuroscience (Neuroscience Professional Development Programme, a British Psychological Society-approved course) to yoga teacher training (CTAA approved).
I have completed a course in CBTi (CBT for insomnia), and most recently I have qualified as an accredited wellness coach, and I am a workshop facilitator for 'The Four Tendencies', a psychological profiling tool.
I have also attended CPD for: calmer childbirth, body language and non-verbal communication, menopause, cancer care, mindfulness, meditation, rapid induction hypnosis, NLP
I provide a 360 degree service, not only looking at what's going on in your mind, but also your body too. Feeling well, living with energy and vitality, is a jigsaw puzzle - I help you find the pieces to complete your unique health picture.
